Throughout his illustrious career, Bourdain hosted a series of food-centric shows - including Parts Unknown on CNN - which he was filming in France at the time of his death. "It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain", the network said in a statement Friday morning.

Asia Argento, actress and girlfriend of late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, has made a statement about his death. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly hard time", the network said. One of the most famous names in the world of food and travel, Anthony Bourdain was loved by people of all age groups. "He was very encouraging and told me to continue the good work I was doing, he believed in me and I'll never forget that". "I mean, you never know what goes on in anybody's head, you never really know what goes on in anybody's heart", Cooper said. Bourdain also said in an interview with People Magazine last month that he'd like to continue working for the rest of his life, saying retirement was not for him.

He became an outspoken proponent of the #MeToo movement in the past year; his girlfriend Asia Argento said she had been a victim of Harvey Weinstein.

Footage included in the episode shows the motorbike roll once over Bourdain, before he scampered to safety as the machine tumbled away. The owner and head chef at Beast Restaurant remained friends with Bourdain over the past few years.

As he left the White House for the G-7 summit in Quebec, President Donald Trump, whom Bourdain had sharply criticized, offered his "heartfelt condolences" to Bourdain's family, which includes his 11-year-old daughter, Ariane.

The president repeated his tough stance on tariffs, saying allies had been "taking advantage" of the United States on trade. Trudeau told reporters the U.S. national security justification for the tariffs on steel and aluminum was "laughable".

A fast storm can distribute its water across a wider surface area, decreasing the chance of extreme flooding. But there are probably more variables at play than a warmer climate putting the brakes on tropical cyclones.

Obama's appearance with Bourdain was one of the many ways he sought to reach new audiences through pop culture and media during his presidency. He used food and travel as a vehicle to prove that there is more love in people than there is hate and that you can learn so much about a person by sitting down and breaking bread with them.

"Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did".

Widely loved and rarely afraid to speak his mind, he mixed a coarseness and whimsical sense of adventurousness, true to the rock "n" roll music he loved. Bourdain also wrote the forward for her book, proclaiming, "This book kills snark dead".

"I enjoyed his show; he was quite a character, I will say, ' Trump added, of the much-loved show that airs on the network POTUS most loves to hate.
